Blue Ribbon Competition

Our Clubs primary awareness campaign conducted during the nationwide Child Abuse Prevention Month of April uses blue ribbons to highlight the plight of child abuse in our community. The blue ribbon symbolizes the more than 3.2 million abused children reported to Child Protective Services each year.
Local schools participate in a challenge to make the most eye-catching decoration of their school frontage with blue ribbons, banners, cutouts and any innovative display that generates awareness. Cash prizes and media recognition go to the top three schools.
